February 2008 my son, Callum, a typical new teen, returned from a school skiing trip with a couple of sore toes ... or so we thought. Lives changed on February 29th 2008 when he was formally diagnosed with a complex brain tumour - part benign, part malignant.
Fast forward to October 2009 and he's still here, full of life and a testament to the skill of the brain surgeons and oncology unit at Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge. It's also the launch date of this service - designed to raise as much money as possible for worthy causes selected by Callum.

Unfortunately we live in a strange world where the "essence" of the Internet has now been overshadowed by big business, the greed of the marketeers for personal information, tracking and those all elusive statistics and analysis of what we do online. This service was borne out of the personal distaste I, and many others, now feel about what is happening to the Internet. I believe in the right to choose when and who you give your personal data to - noone has the right to take what is not sanctioned by the consumer.
As a technology professional of over 20 years experience I, along with fellow seasoned professionals involved in this project, have brought this service to the consumer with one underlying principal - make it easy to use!
There are many charities we would like to help that are both large and small. We will post further details over time as to which charities have benefited from your subscription to this service.
